Custodian for the Recreation Department

Your Responsibilities
As a custodian with us, you will work with the maintenance, operation, and development of the municipality's sports and recreation facilities. The work is broad and encompasses the entire recreation department, not just sports fields. Examples of tasks include:
- Daily operation, supervision, and maintenance of the municipality's sports facilities and recreational environments.
- Practical service tasks, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Seasonal work within winter activities – for example, assignments at Granberget or surrounding facilities.
- Collaboration with colleagues in swimming pools, associations, and other operations.
- Participation in events, seasonal openings, and facility preparations.
You will be part of a team characterized by commitment, collaboration, short decision-making paths, and a high work pace.
The work may involve physically demanding tasks and takes place partly outdoors year-round.
Your Profile
Requirements
- Good physical ability.
- Driver's license (B).
- Experience in practical work within service, operations, property maintenance, or similar.
Desirable Qualifications
- Education in technology, construction/installation, or a related field.
- Experience working in ski facilities.
- Driver's license/training in any of the following:
- Piste machine
- Snowmobile
- All-terrain vehicle
- Lift certificate
- First aid in ski areas
- Chainsaw license AB
- Lift mechanic/lift technician

About the Workplace
The Recreation Department is part of Community Development and is responsible for the maintenance, service, support for associations, and rental of the municipality's sports and recreation facilities. This involves contact with associations, the public, organizers, and other internal operations. Here, custodians and other functions work closely together to create a high level of service and a good experience for the municipality's residents and visitors.
The department handles bookings, customer contact, facility service, and operation of our sports fields, halls, and recreational environments, as well as the development of the facilities over time. We are currently further developing our collaboration with the swimming pool, which gives you a broad and varied work environment.
